I was so excited to meet with Landrie to take her senior casual portraits! She is a senior at Florence High School located in Florence, Mississippi. I have actually known Landrie since she was a little girl! She wouldn’t remember because she was so little, but she actually took dance lessons from my sister’s dance studio. Her mom also went to school with me years ago! Now that I mention that, it sure makes me feel old. Time passes so quickly and you don’t even realize it because let’s be honest, kids and family life keep us all so busy!
The day we took her senior session, the weather was absolutely beautiful, but Mississippi heat is no joke! It was hot and humid, but hey, we still were able to capture some stunning photos! One thing I helped Landrie with to prepare for her senior session was educating her on how important hair and makeup was. She listened, and goodness she looked absolutely beautiful! I’ll save my talk about hair and makeup for another blog post, haha! I could go on and on about how important this is for portraits, again, that will make a great blog post read eventually!
One other thing I loved about our session is she brought her boyfriend with her to the shoot, which I love being able to capture photos of couples! We were able to carve out a few minutes to document their sweet relationship! I’m so excited for Landrie becoming a senior! Congratulations and check out how gorgeous her session turned out!
